Phone Number Collection and Use
Providing your phone number is optional and is used exclusively to verify your identity and secure your account via a one-time WhatsApp verification code (OTP). We do not use your phone number for marketing, promotions, or any purpose other than account security.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Bookea.link service; to authenticate your identity; to respond to your questions and support requests; to send transactional emails (such as booking confirmations, cancellation notices, and account verification messages); and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Third-Party Services
We use various third-party services to operate Bookea.link, including: calendar synchronization services, secure cloud infrastructure, payment processors (Lemon Squeezy for international payments and Mercado Pago for payments within Argentina), and transactional email and WhatsApp delivery providers. Each provider is bound by their own privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.
Email Communications
We use a secure third-party delivery service to send transactional emails only. These include: account registration confirmations, booking confirmations sent to end-clients, cancellation or modification notices, and password reset emails. All emails are triggered exclusively by user-initiated actions and are not marketing or promotional communications. Recipients are individuals who have actively booked an appointment through a business using Bookea.link.
Anti-Spam Policy
We have a zero-tolerance policy for spam. We do not send unsolicited emails and we do not purchase, rent, or use third-party email lists. All emails sent through our Service are transactional and directly related to your use of the platform or initiated by your clients through your booking page.
Deliverability Management
To ensure the integrity of our communications, Bookea.link utilizes real-time monitoring tools (service feedback notifications). We proactively process bounce and spam complaint notifications to avoid future mailings to problematic addresses and ensure maximum deliverability.
WhatsApp Messaging Service
We use Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API to deliver verification codes. Your phone number is shared with Meta solely for message delivery and for no other purpose. By using this feature, you also agree to Meta’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy.
No Sharing for Marketing Purposes
No mobile phone numbers will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. WhatsApp opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Messages are delivered through Meta’s secure infrastructure which does not share end user phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
User Data Deletion & Opt-Out
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information at any time. While our transactional messages are essential for service delivery, you can opt-out of all communications and exercise your right to be forgotten by contacting us at support@bookea.link with the subject "Data Deletion Request."
We honor all removal requests promptly. Upon receiving your request, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it (e.g., for tax or fraud prevention purposes).
Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies and Local Storage

Minors
