These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Bookea.link ("the Service"), operated by an individual doing business as Bookea.link. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy
Description of Service
Bookea.link is a scheduling and booking management platform that integrates with Google Calendar to allow businesses to define services, manage resources, and receive bookings from clients. The Service is provided on a subscription basis as described in our pricing page.
Account Registration and Responsibilities
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the Service to send unsolicited messages, impersonate others, violate any applicable laws or regulations, interfere with the operation of the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
Email Sending Policy
The Service sends transactional emails (such as booking confirmations and notifications) to individuals who have an existing relationship with your business. Client email addresses are used solely for the delivery of these transactional notifications and are not disclosed to the business through the platform interface. The Service does not send marketing, promotional, or unsolicited emails (SPAM). Any attempt to use the Service for prohibited purposes will result in account termination.
WhatsApp Verification Consent
Subscribers will opt-in via bookea.link to receive verification messages from Bookea.link. By entering your phone number, you explicitly consent to receive automated one-time verification codes via WhatsApp from Bookea.link for account verification purposes. These messages are triggered exclusively by your request in the Service.
Message Frequency
You will receive one WhatsApp message each time you request a verification code. Message frequency depends on your usage of the verification feature.
Message and Data Rates
Standard data rates from WhatsApp or your mobile carrier may apply. Meta and mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or delivered messages.
Opt-out & Help
To opt out of WhatsApp verification messages, reply STOP to any message you receive from us. You may also opt out by not requesting further verification codes. Once your phone is verified, no further messages will be sent unless you attempt to change your phone number in the Service settings. For help, reply HELP or contact us at support@bookea.link.
Payments and Subscriptions
The Service includes a free tier with 50 bookings per month. Additional bookings require the purchase of a paid subscription plan. International payments are processed in US Dollars (USD) via Lemon Squeezy, LLC ("Lemon Squeezy"), which acts as our Merchant of Record for all international transactions. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service (https://www.lemonsqueezy.com/terms) and Privacy Policy (https://www.lemonsqueezy.com/privacy). Payments within Argentina are processed in Argentine Pesos (ARS) via Mercado Pago. Upon successful payment, your account limits will be updated immediately.
Payment Security
International payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC, which is PCI-DSS compliant. Payments within Argentina are processed by Mercado Pago, which is also PCI-DSS compliant. Bookea.link does not store or handle your payment card details directly. All connections to our site are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
Refund Policy
Because the Service offers a free tier that allows full evaluation before any purchase, paid subscriptions are generally non-refundable. However, if you believe you were charged in error or did not authorize a transaction, please contact us at support@bookea.link within 30 days of the charge and we will review your case promptly. Lemon Squeezy, as Merchant of Record, may also process refunds in accordance with their own refund policy for international transactions.
Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@bookea.link. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free tier (50 bookings/month). No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of Bookea.link and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that any errors will be corrected.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bookea.link shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service, with or without prior notice. You may terminate your account at any time by requesting the permanent deletion of your account and associated data via email at support@bookea.link. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Argentina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Argentina.
